torrents music downloadsWhat are the chances of getting caught for downloading music torrents?

If one downloads music torrents what are their chances of being caught (say 200 songs from thepiratebay) and can you really be sued a lot for this? What if you didn't know it was illegal, and then immediately deleted the music?
The chances of being caught are very low, which is why so many people download pirated music. When the recording industry goes after people, however, it stomps the cr*p out of them. The last big suit against a housewife who shared songs cost her $87,500 per song, and she shared 24 songs. Ouch.

torrents music downloads I don't think the recording industry would want to go after someone who downloaded music; realized the downloads were illegal; then deleted the songs. The purpose for suing people is to deter others from illegally downloading music. Punishing someone for trying to do the right thing would send the wrong message.
even if you dont know its illegal you can still be sued, but the chances are very very slim of getting caught and so many people do it too, its unlikely that they would target one spasific person. Altorrents music downloadsso if worst comes to worst you could always completely wipe your drive (erases ALL data) and they wouldnt have evidence, which would probably still be cheaper than being sued
ONE in a MILLION. Millions of people do it. Heck, people even let genius look at their music. Genius sends your playlist to Apple and makes playlists for certain songs that go together well. No one ever gets caught. Apple doesn't check this stuff, as long as some people are still buying music, they're happy.
