Ok. So my Mozilla Firefox browser opens the Downloads window, starts the download, saves the .part file onto my Desktop BUT! it stops after about 5 - 15 seconds of downloading any file. like it just stops and where it says the speed it is just frozen. For example 1.27mb of 34.8mb downloaded (47.9kb/s) that is just stuck there. Ive even left some of my stuff downloading overnight in case it was the website but i got up the next morning and it was exactly the same.mozilla firefox browser download
ive tried downloading from multiple websites, all the same thing.
Note: the funny thing is that my Frostwire and Bittorrent programs work fine.
Thank you if you give me an intelligent answer. I appreciate your time.
i'm not sure why its doing it but i have had the same problem
you should pause the download and then resume
it should continue to download repeat if necessary
If you're using a download manager, uninstall it. (Downloading a mozilla firefox browser downloadfile in parts sounds as if you're using something external to Firefox to do your downloads.) Firefox itself is pretty solid on file downloads, as long as they're http or ftp downloads - if multiple-stream downloads don't work it isn't Firefox's fault.
1. check that "whether u can download in internet explorer" if yes (Reinstall firefox after backup ur Bookmarks and Addons). That's it!
