free pc softwareWhat is the best FREE PC Software to mix music with?

I've seen Virtual DJ (pretty cool) but I'm looking more specifically on a software that can cut the vocals from one song and place it into another, basically what I want to do is create my own remixes. Which is the best free software for that?
To extract vocals from a track and put it on another track while maintaining sound quality is one of the mostfree pc software difficult tasks you can do with a piece of music software. If you have an instrumental of the beat you want, and a copy of just the lyrics you want, then it is easy to do on Audacity, a free sound editing program. You can do vocal removal on Audacity, but it is not professional sounding. The songs you have are 'mixed down', there are not seperafree pc softwarete tracks for vocals and instruments, they are combined into one wave form. Vocal extraction is even harder. Professional DJs have instrumentals and acapellas that the use to do remixes. If you want to spend a lot of time and money, then it can be done, but it doesn't sound like you want to invest a lot of time or money.
