god bless youIn my line of work, I deal with the public and I find many people closing with 'god bless you', is it okay?

is it okay to say which god, or would that be unprofessional of myself?
Two people told me that yesterday. I'm not offended by it.
That would be the angry atheist talking and yes, quite unprofessional. The correct response is "thank you, and you as well"

I perfer. "God bless you". That nails it down...
Just grin and bear it. The customer is always god bless youright.
I'd just say, "Thanks, and may Odin smile upon you as well." If it's a Wednesday, and if it's a Thursday tell them, "Grace be to Thor on this his day of honor," or if it's a Saturday, wish them blessing from Saturn.
Not okay. God's "blessings," are what? A plague of sores? Sending bears to maul children? Hell, his most blessed was nailed to boards and tortured.god bless you I take God's blessings as an insult, because even in the best scenarios they have been violence based and furthermore because they mean absolutely nothing. The blessings of God have done nothing to the human race but hold it back.
Unprofessional. That violates both the atheist rule 1b, and christian rule 2b (i.e., "don't be a dick").
